Play Now Melbourne is for Australian developers with projects in active development who are seeking funding, publishing support, platform opportunities, or other marketplace support.
Publishers offer a mix of investment and go-to-market services such as marketing, release planning, localisation, quality assurance, and platform strategy. Different publishers have different approaches to their individual slates to support different genres, budgets, and release windows, so not every project will be a fit for every publisher.
Platform holders provide support in bringing projects to their hardware platform. This may include store access, platform-specific advice, promotional opportunities or, in some cases, commercial support.
Investors typically provide capital to help fund development. The level of additional support varies and may be different from the broader market and release support a publisher can offer.
